Become a Board Member

Positive community change results from collaborations and working together.We would love to partner with you as we make a positive difference in the lives of individual, families and communities and our country of New Zealand. Board members:
  • Oversee the organisation and staff
  • Observe a legally binding constitution
  • Provide a strategic plan
  • Manage funding
  • Fulfil a variety of roles: finance, advocacy, marketing, fundraising, community engagement, public events, ideas, encouragement
  • Attend online board meetings approx 8 weeks apart, one face-to face
  • Elect roles within the board: chair people, finance, board members, staffing etc
  • Vote on issues relating to the organisation
  • Find satisfaction that individuals, families, communities, NZ, and the world is a better place because of the work we do
